Craig is the largest city on PoW with a population of approximately 1,100. It offers the greatest number and diversity of services of any community on the Island. Craig is located on the west side of PoW. Paved roads and city services (water, refuse, etc.) are available in the community. Craig is a little over 30 miles from Hollis and less than 10 miles from Klawock. Like most PoW communities, there are many opportunities nearby for outdoor recreation (beachcombing, hiking trails, fishing, boating, hunting, etc.). Craig also offers a community swimming pool and gym.
